David Clark was the stylish standout of the tight knit Atlanta skate scene. The Deluxe camp took notice and he found himself on Mark Gonzales’ exclusive Krooked team. Nike SB, also impressed with his combination of board control and finesse was quick to lace him up as well. With equally matched looks and style on board, David was a perfect match for Quiksilver.

201 Mulberry Launch Party Photos
by mramirez
The launch party for 201 Mulberry went off Saturday night without a hitch. The private gathering was small and intimate, celebrating a unique skate shop in the heart of Manhattan, only open for a limited time. Guests included close friends and family of the players involved with 201 Mulberry – from Billy Rohan’s friends and affiliates of Run My Game Productions, to the Autumn crew, to the local skaters friendly with Quiksilver team-riders Jake Johnson, Tim O’Connor, Alex Olson, Reese Forbes and David Clark. Everyone had something different to say, but one common sentiment was that “it is too bad this shop is only open for eight days!”

QUIKSILVER Up In Smoke Midwest Skate Tour ‘09 – Minneapolis to Oakdale (7/10)
July 10th Minneapolis to Oakdale
Early up and out to our friends @ Cal Surf. Met up w/ Scott n Fam. Met the kids and future of Minni skate scene. Signed some autographs.
Then headed to the Mall of America. Damn this mall is HUGE! Had to stop by @ the Quiksilver Store to stock up on boardies and say hello to Dave n crew, before we went over to the Waterpark of America. Check back for the video of the skate crew coming out of the 5 person slide… Creepy but funny… Then headed to Summit Sports…
The Finale was @ Oakdale skate park with over 300+ kids. Brock and Reese were mixing it up with the kids. Brock got at it with some kids in the game of S.K.A.T.E.
With all grills firing, Dickie was at his best. Burgers, Hot Dogs and Steaks were off the charts! Kids were proper and kept in line and were psyched!
Once the BBQ was cleaned up, the Giveaways got given out and even the local softball guy got in the mix. That’s right, “Quiksilver Loves you and you love Quiksilver” –Copyright Dickie Munczenski. Ton’s of Denim, Hats and Tour T’s given out. Kids were hyped and stuck around to skate with Brock and Reese. Oh, yeah, Reese gave away a Reese Forbes deck to the kid with the most hurt up deck.
The last night was easy n mellow. We got back to 601 Graves Hotel safe. Said our goodbyes to MoDaddy for another tour well traveled. Kicked it in the bar for a minute and then off to Ike’s for a mellow dinner.
The next morning, everyone was on their separate ways.
Another dope tour in the Midwest! Looking forward to doing it again!
